Park Yuchun in ‘I Miss You’ has attracted women’s hearts by his performance moving across the character with thick faces, sincerity and sensitivity and finally achieved a big breakthrough to lead his drama into the 1st place of the viewing rates.
MBC Wed/Thursday drama, ‘I Miss You’ aired on the 6th recorded 11.0% (AGB Nielsen national rating) and got the throne of Wed/Thursday dramas by defeating 10.8% of Jeon Woo Chi aired at the same time.
‘I Miss You’ broadcasting its 1st episode on the 7th of last month had a unstable start with the viewing rate of 7.7%. However, it has made a solid founding to reverse the situation with viewers evaluation on stable acting of the cast and strong storyline and has had higher viewing rates after each episode.
On the other hand, KBS Jeon Woo Chi shamefully failed to keep its throne of Wed/Thursday dramas after its 6th episode while it has shown a decreasing trend of the viewing rate after 14.4% for its 1st episode.
The one who has contributed the most for the rise in viewing rate of ‘I Miss You’ is Park Yuchun. Park Yuchun has generated ‘Yuchun Sickness’ by his charisma and performance with full of sensibility touching women’s hearts, which is very different from his performance for previous dramas.
Particularity, Han Jungwoo portrayed by Park Yuchun is revived as the character of versatile dimensions with mournfulness toward his first love, longing, sense of guilty, and thick faces and he has caught viewers’ eyes every moment.
Meanwhile, in this episode of ‘I Miss You,’ Zoe (played by Yoon Eunhye) met Myunghee (played by Song Oksook). Two people who recognized each other at first glance cried out in sorrow as if they burst all the emotions suppressed for 14 years
Moreover, while Jungwoo (played by Park Yuchun) searched for the clue to the murder case of Kang Sangdeuk, the cleaning lady (played by Kim Mikyung) appeared as a prime suspect. At the end of the episode, the orange clothesline and black tape resembling the ones used for the murder of Kang Sangdeuk were found in the cleaning lady’s house and the scene in which surprised Jungwoo fell down from the attack by a stun gun amplified the curiosity of the viewers.
